Brands are Valuable and Desirable<\/h2>\n<p>Think for a moment about your favorite brand.\u00a0 Apple, Starbucks, and Google are a few of my own, and it is no coincidence that two of these three happen to be #1 and #2 on <a href=\"http:\/\/interbrand.com\/best-brands\/best-global-brands\/2015\/ranking\/\" target=\"_blank\">Interbrand\u2019s Most Valuable Brands 2015<\/a> list.<\/p>\n<p>Google consistently tops Fortune\u2019s list of <a href=\"http:\/\/fortune.com\/best-companies\/\" target=\"_blank\">Best Companies to Work For<\/a>, Starbucks has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/1777409\/how-starbucks-transformed-coffee-commodity-4-splurge\" target=\"_blank\">transformed a cup of coffee<\/a> into a $4 Starbucks experience with fierce customer loyalty, and Apple is widely expected to become the world&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/2015\/04\/17\/investing\/apple-could-be-first-american-trillion-dollar-company\/\" target=\"_blank\">first $1 trillion company<\/a> within the next couple years.<\/p>\n<p>Having a strong personal brand will make you more desirable by hiring companies, for both getting the job, as well as likely eliciting a higher salary offer.\u00a0 Consider development of your personal brand as an investment in your future.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-41 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/johnveltri.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/PersonalBranding_2b.jpg\" alt=\"Difference Between a Person and a Personal Brand\" width=\"457\" height=\"343\" srcset=\"http:\/\/johnveltri.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/PersonalBranding_2b.jpg 540w, http:\/\/johnveltri.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/PersonalBranding_2b-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 457px) 100vw, 457px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>2.
